Eligibility Criteria

To avail the benefits of PMAY Urban 2.0, applicants must fulfill the following conditions:

  • The applicant or their family should not own a pucca house anywhere in India.
  • The beneficiary family includes husband, wife, and unmarried children.
  • The applicant must have a valid Aadhaar card.
  • The annual household income should fall under one of the following categories:
    • EWS (Economically Weaker Section): Up to ₹3 lakh
    • LIG (Low Income Group): ₹3 lakh – ₹6 lakh
    • MIG-I (Middle Income Group I): ₹6 lakh – ₹12 lakh
    • MIG-II (Middle Income Group II): ₹12 lakh – ₹18 lakh

Eligibility Conditions

  • No prior benefit from any Central/State housing scheme.
  • Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
  • The house should be located in a statutory town as per Census 2011 or any notified town thereafter.
  • For married couples, either spouse or both together can apply for a single house under the scheme.

Applicants will need to upload the following documents while applying:

  • Aadhaar Card (Mandatory)
  • Identity Proof (PAN / Voter ID / Driving License)
  • Income Proof (Salary Slip / ITR / Income Certificate)
  • Address Proof (Electricity Bill / Rent Agreement / Ration Card)
  • Property Documents or Land Ownership Papers
  • Bank Account Details
  • Passport Size Photograph
