UIDAI states that even if your mobile phone number is not registered with the Aadhaar card, you can still order this card

The government, in order to solve this problem, has introduced the PVC Aadhaar Card. PVC stands for Polyvinyl Card, which looks similar to the size of an ATM card. One can carry a PVC Aadhar card in his wallet easily because of its small size. In addition, citizens can use these Update Aadhar Cards registered on the official residency pvc.uidai portal.

Aadhaar Book: A paper-based laminated book with a secure QR code with issue date and printing date. Aadhaar letter is sent to the resident free of charge by regular mail in the event of a new registration or compulsory biometric renewal. If the Aadhaar book is lost or destroyed, the resident may order reprint online at a cost of Rs. 50 / - from the official UIDAI website.
